    Domain name Privacy

    Hello everyone,

I'd like to register a new domain name.

Iwant to keep the WHOIS information private, so thought I'd register it using domainbyproxy.

However, I am suspicious of their hidden charges and their integrity.

So, I have heard that it is possible to alter the WHOIS information to give the details of '********* support', instread.

Does anybody know how to do this and give a little explanation?

    Thank you

    R.

    hi,

I remember seeing whois info on register.com for domains which have absolutely no info. I have no idea how they do that.

If nothing works put a fake address and a fake mobile number and a real email id,incase some one really wants to get to you. There are even a few email forwarders that are freely available, you might try using them,if ur concerned.

    Regards Data.
