how do I find out my isp's proxy info - like name and port used?
(other than calling them because I can never get a hold of anyone)

if my post helped you at all id appriciate it if you'd add this to the forums you post at.
i dont need to enter any proxy information to connect to the internet, yet i know my isp is using one.
i suppose another way to find the proxy settings would be to connect to the internet and then open a dos prompt and type in netstat -n

Download a port viewer... then you can view IP's, ports, connections, ect
Active Ports - http://www.protect-me.com/freeware.html good
TCPview - http://www.sysinternals.com/ better
DiamondCS Port Explorer

Hi,
you find free proxies on www.proxywelt.de
This sounded simple enough,
(Download yet another program to test the security of my security systems, yegads, but it will probably come to that.)
It seems to work, but the resulting
information blazes by too fast for me to see it. Can you add the p to get it to pause, or something like that?
