well i understand now what http authentication is, but it does have a option for "Http form" and it says trying username admin, (which i believe its going through the dictonary already installed) but does it take a long time for brute force to work? and if not or so or whatever lol what should be a good brute force to try on my domain? sorry for all the questions bro... just really info hungry cant find anything on google more helpful then you and mikeOriginally Posted by Moonbat
HTTP authentication is different from form-based logins.
For instance, try to go to this link: [url]http://hellboundhackers.org/fusion_admin[/url]
It brings up a dialog box asking for username and password. This is an example of HTTP authentication.
I'm not sure if Brutus can brute-force forms or not, I've never tried.
P.S. - Don't try to brute-force HellBoundHackers' HTTP authentication please
