Can you answer a few questions first?
*. Are you using a terminal or an actual computer with a tower and a hard drive. Sometimes admins use dummy terminals where you log in from terminal services to access all your files. You are actually loggin into the main server. In this case everything is stored on the server and your terminal has no C: drive.
2. When you log in, do you have any programs running like Deep Freeze? Deep freeze takes a snapshot of the hard drive. When you reboot the computer it return to the "snapshot" stage. Anything you saved will no longer be there. Its a great program used to keep computers clean and in perfect running condition (No spyware or viruses).
