Hi to everyone,

I think it's time for you to change

*. use OPERA instead of MSIE
you'll understand "later" by yourself the reason of my advice

http://www.opera.com/windows/

2. use PROXOMITRON, you will be amazed of its features.
mostly the webfiltering and the blocklist if you have kids....

http://www.laudanski.com/proxomitron/

*. this is a link to select an anon proxy (daily update)

Problem:need help

I tried Prosomitron and I have still the same problem !
It seems that my browser does not support the specified settings in order to work Multiproxy (*27.0.0.*:8088) and Proxomitron (localhost:8080).

I really does not understand. Before, I used Multiprox and Proxomitron without any problems.

I have IE 5.0 and Tiny firewall.

Thanks for your help

Oh, there's a new factor, you didn't mention earlier the firewall..

So, unless you did it already, why don't you proceed by elimination:

*. shut down Tiny firewall, multiproxy or Proxomitron and try your browser ALONE.
if you are able to surf then
2. connect to Multiprox or Proxomitron *27.0.0.* on port 8080 or 8088 or "whatever_you_like".

if it still work then something is wrong with the rules of your firewall that applies on the browser, multiproxy or proxomitron.

good luck

Hi Romphory

Since my last post, the URL of the mentionned site has changed, please use now

http://www8.big.or.jp/~000/CyberSyndrome/plf*.html

As for the "?????.." characters, it seems that, like me you are not in japan and your browser cannot handle the japaneese character set. (or at least not yet..)

so just ignore those characters and have a look at the frequently updated list of proxies that follows those "??????????".
