Hmmm, Internet History :s

Hey everyone, wonder if anyone can help me....

Is there anyway to store internet history other than on the browser, so that even if it is deleted on the history bar in the browser, it can still be found elsewhere, like in a file or something?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

I believe a lot of those child safe webrowse software programs have the ability to log all web activity.
The only ones I can think of off the top of my head are:
k9 software
net nanny
contentprotect or contentwatch something like that
