How to get rich?

Is there a way I can get rich? It like everything I do doesnt work. Why work a 9-5 it wont get you anywhere.

Here's how life works: if you have a product or service that others want, you get paid. How much you get paid depends on supply and demand.

To get rich, you either offer a product or service with huge demand and low supply, or you beat the system (illegally, of course). By 'beating the system' I mean things like fraud. Everybody can't be rich; rich is relative to other people. Most people either live in poverty or have average jobs with average pay.

Back to beating the system. There are ways to earn quite large amounts illegally that are within reach of most criminals. Theft, credit card fraud, etc. These are high-risk, easy-to-detect and don't offer the kind of cash that makes you 'rich'. These kind of criminals usually get caught unless they're smart. By definition, these kind of criminals will probably get caught then.

The other type of crime is highly skilled and done by intelligent criminals. The minority. Things like breaking into banking systems and stealing millions; exploiting poker servers to steal money. These type of people still might get caught, but they are the minority. These crimes may earn millions.

If any type of crime was done by the masses, there would be problems for the world. Eventually people would abandon the system that was vulnerable (e.g. banks), and there would be nothing left for the criminals to take. If everyone 'got rich' by taking money off each other, money would become worthless and nobody would work. My point is, everyone can't be rich. If everyone were millionaires, the real world value of a currency would go down in exchange rates. Millionaires would be working at McDonalds.

This is probably getting boring now, so in other words, the hard truth is that only a small percentage of people will be either wealthy or famous. It can't be any other way; there always has to be people at the bottom to support those at the top. I'm not saying I like that truth -- who would?

Back to my first point, you could either accept this fact or you could find a product, service or skill that people really want. Failing that, you could build up your expertise in 'beating the system', and become one of those expert criminals. That is really up to you. Expert criminals would invent their own methods; anything you find on Google (or other search engine) is already being done by the masses -- category 1 of criminals.

How would you beat the system Mike? Which area of crime would you specialise in?

It gives an example of the type of people in the second category I was talking about; the intelligent criminals. I was reading it last night.

Really though, to 'beat the system' you have to figure out something yourself. Find an area of technology (or anything else in life), spend a long time learning about it, then try finding weaknesses in a particular system.

I suppose either that, or find someone (or small group) who can do this, and learn the skills (or instructions) off them. I emphasize that it has to be a small group, because the whole population can't be scamming each other. If it reaches too many people, it stops.

Which area of crime would you specialise in?

The most illegal thing I've done lately is download movies from Bittorrent. I'm not some criminal mastermind .

Sometimes I get ideas for scams or vulnerabilities, and I suppose these are mostly related to the Internet. My area would be electronic crime, if I had to choose. That includes social engineering, software hacking; things like that.

I have the will to do something like that. I like taking big risks. I just don't have the techniqual knowledge to do it (yet)..

I guess any idiot could copy a technique that has already been done before instead of studying a system and finding weaknesses. But idiots get caught.

i consider being rich as what u accomplishied in life and u can be rich with happines and enjoyment not necessarily money, i would much rather be rich with love and enjoyment and happiness and friends than money.
