changing my ip address?

can anyone tell me how to do it? (i use wireless internet: a linksys router and networker adapter)

You could change ISPs...

Or, if you only want to change your IP address for a small amount of time (e.g. to access a website you're banned from), use a proxy server..

The most simple way to do this is use a webproxy such as http://www.hidemyass.com

You can also google for proxy lists and then configure your browser/irc client/whatever to use that proxy..

hi so does that mean if you send a email to watever and then reset your modem and then send another email to watever will the i be differnt ?

Damn! I thought that was a joke. There's actually a web service called Hidemyass, lol. I might start my own web service for people who want to quit their job called kissmyass.com.
